​The City of Amersfoort aims to generate jobs in the creative sector. Envolve has developed an innovation programme,which received a substantial financial contribution both from the national government and from Europe.

Dynamics and growth
The programme capitalizes on the strong dynamics and high growth expectancy of the creative sector in the Amsterdam metropolitan region. It includes projects and research initiatives in the fields of interactive gaming, open data, geo information, ICT and sustainability, ICT in health care, sport, education and culture.

Our job
Envolve developed the programme and coordinated the applications for funding. We did this in close cooperation with over 20 parties involved, including the province of Utrecht, various experts, partners and funders. Envolve offered expertise in the field of innovation policy, public-private cooperation and ICT innovation. At the moment, we are supervising the execution of the programme.

The result
Amersfoort business companies and institutions profit from the many initiatives aimed at cooperation and exchange of skills and knowledge. The programme forces its partners to make a substantial effort to meet European requirements. Envolve is closely involved to guide partners through these procedures. In cooperation with the city council, we also investigate how activities can carry on without government contributions in the future.
