The German Landkreis Grafschaft Bentheim is close to the province of Overijssel. The introduction of glass fibre will contribute to an improved establishment climate for business companies. But how to go about it in a rural area?
Our mission
Based on thorough investigations, Envolve has computed the potential return on investments. This provided insight into the level of subsidy from the government of the federal state of Nedersaksen that was required to make it a profitable project. We also advised the government on how to cooperate with market parties.
The result
The Landkreis used Envolve's advice and succeeded to obtain the required subsidy. Consequently, telecommunication networks in the Landkreis will be upgraded in cooperation with market parties, from 2012 onward.
